My First Christmas & 2 Big Milestones!

Merry Christmas Everyone!  I hope everyone had a great holiday!

We had a big Christmas Eve party at Poppy &     De De's and I got to dress up like Daddy!

Santa even came!  All the kids love it.

But to tell you the truth I was a little concerned....

I sat on Santa's lap and checked him out

And decided I did not like him this time..

Nope, this bearded man is way to much for me right now.. 

But I was able to recover and discovered I love opening presents!

Christmas morning was much calmer...

and I got to perfect my present opening skills.

Then we went to dinner at Uncle Gerry's parents house and I got to spend some quality time with Nana.

I tried to play with the big boys there...

and Aunt Sarah got some help feeding me a bottle.

Then on the 26th we had Dennis Family Christmas dinner at my house and I got to play with all my toys!

but I spent most of the day snoozing (yup still with my butt in the air) Christmas is awesome but exhausting!

And if my first Christmas was not enough I had 2 big milestones this week too!

I bit Auntie Reese's finger and we discovered I have my bottom 2 teeth!!

But the bigger news is I can now army crawl!

I just have one thing to say about this... WATCH OUT!!

Gusty Family Christmas!

Oh Hi!  This weekend was Gusty Family Christmas!  Apparently, one huge christmas eve party is not enough for these people, but I am glad because I had so much fun!

First, we waited in line to meet Santa...

I was so happy to meet Jolly old St. Nick!

Then I got to ride the Merry-go-round for the first time...

I got this.. I have had practice riding my brother Gussie....

After all the excitement I took a power nap on Mom during lunch...

Then we all hung out by the fire at Poppy & De De's

What is everyone talking about up there??

I loved the star on the Christmas tree so Poppy let me touch it!

It was so fun all hanging out!

Then Daddy had the day off on Monday, which was great!  However, we discovered I do not like his singing voice very much. At first I was not sure what to think, but then it is pretty clear...  Dad please stop singing!

Fun Filled Weekend & 7 Months Old!

Hi Everyone! 

This weekend went to my man Owen's house where I got to meet a new friend Leah! She came all the way from Chicago!

We all played very nice together.

Then I went to a birthday party for my Godmother where I played with Liam.

Liam is so funny he thought all the toys should go on my head!

I love all my friends! But let me tell you all this socialization is exhausting!

So this week I also turned a big 7 months old!!

 

One development this month is that I almost sleep through the night!  Mommy & Daddy found that if I get a big bottle before bed I sleep much better! 

I still love splashing in the bath. It is even more fun now that I am bigger and can play with toys! 

I can kind of sit.. particularly when get my hands on the remote that I am not suppose to play with!

But to tell you the truth I dont like to be still long enough to sit!  I like to explore!

I usually end up getting stuck in awkard positions...

But it fun seeing where I end up next!

Just wait till I can crawl!

Getting in the Holiday Spirt!

We spent most of this week getting ready for the Holidays!

We went to Poppy & De De's house to start preparing for our Christmas Eve party... I watched all the action from my new sassy seat!

Uh Oh! Apparently Christmas means everyone is forced to wear silly things on their head!

Yikes! They even got Gussie involved!

This could get scary people!

My First Thanksgiving

There is so much to be Thankful for!

We started out Thanksgiving day by doing a memorial run.

I was bundled up and ready to go at the starting line

By the 3rd mile things started to get rough so De De offered to carry me...

After we crossed the finish line I explored a post race banana...

Then we headed to my Aunt Marybeths and Uncle Eds house where I got to play with my cousins

We all checked each other out...

Then we had a Turkey dinner... this is me with the drumstick!

After that we got to spend some cozy family time at Poppy & De De's house. We did venture out to pick out Christmas trees though....

I learned how to blow raspberries. I was frustrated at first trying so hard but then got the hang of it!

Then on Saturday my friend Owen was Baptised. I was concerned he was a little sad at the church...

But we had a great time together at the after party!

My man Owen knows how to throw a party! This is me getting down on the dance floor!

Finally we ended the long weekend by decorating our Chirstmas tree...

It's going to be a such great Holiday season!
